What is the difference between the black box and pixelate options?
The black box completely covers the area with solid color — the most secure option. Pixelate blurs the area into large blocks, which hides detail but is technically less irreversible than a solid box.
Is the redaction permanent in the downloaded file?
Yes. The redaction is drawn directly into the image pixels before download — there is no hidden original data left in the exported PNG.
Can I undo a mistake?
Yes. Use the Undo Last button to step back through your redactions one at a time before downloading.
