Does this replace the original page images?
No. The original page appearance is kept exactly as-is — an invisible text layer is added on top so you can select, search, and copy text.
How accurate is the recognized text?
Accuracy depends on scan quality and font clarity, similar to any OCR tool. Clean, high-resolution scans in a supported language produce the best results.
Can I OCR a PDF in a language other than English or Portuguese?
Spanish and French are also available. If you need another language, let us know — more can be added.
