No. These are geometric operations that rearrange pixels without any re-encoding or quality loss. The output is pixel-for-pixel identical to the input, just in a different orientation.
Can I rotate an image by a specific angle like 45 degrees?+
Currently, we support 90, 180, and 270 degree rotations, and horizontal/vertical flips. These cover the vast majority of use cases for fixing photo orientation.
Why does my photo look sideways when I upload it?+
Cameras and phones store rotation information in the EXIF metadata. Some apps ignore this and display the raw pixel data. Our tool reads EXIF orientation and displays the corrected view.
